How to elevate a classic
Respectful of the fact that gin-making had changed little since the mid-18th century, Cambridge Distillery co-founders William and Lucy Lowe wanted instead to use this tradition combined with innovation and talent to create an outstanding spirit (and a
great G&T).
Their unique novo-dimensional vacuum method allows the fresh, delicate botanicals, gathered from around the world, to be individually distilled into gins with different flavour profiles.
Each spirit is carefully blended by William, who after 20 years in the drinks industry, became the world's first master distiller to become a Master of Wine – one of only a few hundred globally. Using his expert palate, William combines individual distillates to create award-winning gins. In fact, every gin released has won international awards for quality, and Cambridge Distillery itself has been recognised as the most innovative in the world three times.
Try this bright, herbaceous gin, inspired by meadow walks with Darcy the dog, in a Cambridge G&T: pour 50ml over ice, add 125ml Indian tonic water and garnish with fresh mint.
